On Wednesday, Kaskar, along with councillors Ameya Chopdekar and Prajay Mayekar inspected the temporary shed which will be used to shift the existing fish vendors from the fish market.

The construction of the new fish market complex will start once the vendors are shifted to the shed, Kaskar told media.

GSUDA has already started erecting the temporary shed in Dev Damodar Trust, which was recently allowed by the Collector,” said Kaskar.

It may be recalled that there have been many expectations from the fish vendors about the new fish market project which will provide them with better space and facilities.
