PONDA: Three persons were killed in a tragic accident that took place between two vehicles on Wednesday night at around 10 pm on Curti-Khandepar bypass road opposite the Sateri Temple at Curti.
According to Ponda police, scooter rider Ramesh N Ballad (50) died on the spot after he went on the extreme right and hit an oncoming motorcycle rider Shaid Sayyad (19) who died on the way to Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim. Pillion rider Tukaram Ingle (37) from Panditwada in Ponda suffered serious injuries and succumbed to the same at the Ponda Sub District Hospital.
