CALANGUTE: Three minor girls were rescued at Baga beach by Calangute Police, on Wednesday.
Calangute PI Jivba Dalvi said that he received information that three minor girls were roaming on Calangute beach on Wednesday night at around 8 pm. Following this, he sent a team of police and brought them to the police station. Their statements were recorded in the presence of an NGO member. The girls’ parents or guardians could be traced immediately.
Later, all the three were sent to Apna Ghar, Merces, for safe custody and protection. The rescued minor girls were aged 10, 12 and 13, years.
