Traffic Blocks Announced in South Goa from April 20–24 for Girder Launching Work

The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (GSIDC) has released a detailed schedule of traffic blocks on the stretch from Power House Circle Davorlim to Ravanfond Junction in South Goa for ongoing girder launching works.

As per the schedule, vehicular movement will be halted on key routes at specific intervals between April 20 and April 24, 2026:

  • April 20 (Monday): 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • April 21 (Tuesday): 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • April 23 (Thursday): 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM
  • April 24 (Friday): 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Authorities have advised motorists to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled closures. The temporary traffic restrictions are part of ongoing infrastructure development works aimed at improving connectivity in the region.

The Traffic Police Inspector has urged the public to cooperate with authorities and follow the designated diversions put in place to ensure smooth traffic management during the period.
