MAYEM: Two tremors measuring 3.3 and 1.8 on the Richter scale were detected in Dodamarg, Sawantwadi and surrounding areas on Tuesday evening.
According to the Tillari Earthquake Measuring Centre Officer Vijay Belgaunkar, the first tremor measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was reported at about 4.07 pm, while the second tremor measuring 1.8 on the Richter scale was reported at about 4.40 pm.
The tremors were felt in Dodamarg, Sawantwadi, Madkhol and Kudal, but there were no reports of any casualties. The Goa earthquake measuring centre, however, did not report any tremor in its region.
