Trio held for theft of tyres at Mapusa

Mapusa police on Tuesday arrested three persons in connection with the theft of MRF tyres worth Rs 4.75 lakh from a tyre showroom at Mapusa.
The accused identified as Pravin Vaigankar, Samir Sawant, both residents of Revora and Rupesh Kambli of Mapusa were employees of Ramesh Burye, who owns the shop.
According to Mapusa police, Burye in his complaint had stated that 36 tyres of MRF make were missing from his showroom.
After Burye suspected the involvement of his employees, police arrested the trio and booked a case under Section 381 IPC. Police is investigating the case.
