According to sources, the accident occurred and 10 am on Sunday at Sanfator, Loutulim when the truck GJ-16-X-9742, on it way to Ponda collided on the mini bus GA-05-T-2474, which was coming from opposite direction proceeding to Margao. While two passengers have been admitted at Hospicio, 8 others who suffered minor injuries were given first aid and discharged. Maina-Curtorim police have registered an offence of rash and negligent driving against the truck driver.
Truck-bus mishap at Loutolim
MARGAO: In a head-on accident between a minibus and a truck, four persons suffered injuries with two of the injured Sheeta Gadekar, 54 and Rekha Morajkar, 55 from Ponda are admitted at Hospicio hospital Margao.
