Calangute Police have arrested two men for allegedly clicking photographs of tourists without their consent and harassing them at Baga Beach.
The accused have been identified as P. Arantha (43) and Vijay T (38). Police said the duo was found approaching tourists, taking their photographs without permission and causing nuisance in the popular beach area.

Taking cognisance of the complaints, Calangute Police initiated action under the preventive provisions of Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Nyay Sanhita (BNNS), 2023, and placed both individuals under arrest.
Police have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found indulging in activities that disturb public order or harass visitors, reiterating their commitment to ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for tourists in the coastal belt.
