Two Theft Cases Reported in Sanguem Villages; Gold Jewellery Worth ₹2.5 Lakh Stolen

Two separate theft incidents were reported from villages in Sanguem on Tuesday, with unknown persons stealing gold jewellery, cash and other valuables from residential houses.

In the first case reported from Vilian, unidentified persons allegedly broke into the residence of Manisha M. Naik at around 11:30 am. The accused reportedly made away with gold jewellery worth approximately ₹2.5 lakh along with cash amounting to ₹20,000.

In another incident from Bhati, unknown individuals allegedly stole ₹3,000 from the house of a migrant worker.

Police have registered cases in connection with both incidents and have launched further investigations to trace the culprits. Authorities are also examining local leads and surrounding areas as part of the probe.
