VASCO: The workers union of Western Indian Shipyard Limited (WISL) on Saturday unanimously resolved not to vacate WISL yard until workmen get all their statutory benefits and settlement dues.
The decision was taken during the WISL union Annual General Body meeting on Saturday afternoon. The meeting was called to discuss future course of action by the workers union over pending settlement issue.
Union leader Ajit Singh Rane said that it was due to failure and mismanagement of the WISL employer and its management the company is facing closer today.
