NEW DELHI: No state has received the Covid-19 vaccines so many of them have informed the Centre that they will not be able to start the vaccination of all those over 18 in the third phase from May 1. The Opposition-ruled states are accusing the Centre of mischief in deliberately announcing the vaccination of persons in 18-45 age from May 1, and even started their registration on CoWIN website from Wednesday, making no arrangements for supplies and putting the onus on the states to procure the vaccines directly from the manufacturers. They alleged that the Centre wants to paint the states in a poor picture by failing to carry on the vaccination which was going on so smoothly so long as the supplies of vaccines were routed through the Centre.
