Valpoi Police have registered an FIR against one Vithal Zore for allegedly abducting and sexually assaulting a 41-year-old woman near Redyeghat Amyakade in Valpoi (Sattari), close to a mining pit.
According to police sources, the accused allegedly confined the woman inside his car, sexually assaulted her, and robbed her of her belongings. It is further alleged that he issued death threats to the victim during the incident.
