CURCHOREM: Taking cognisance of Herald report highlighting the commuting woes faced by Curchorem motorists while plying on the muddy road, the Water Resources Department on Monday cleared the mud along the main route from railway over bridge to Curchorem Railway Station.
It may be recalled that the motorists and pedestrians including students were inconvenienced while commuting along the road due to presence of mud following repairs/reconstruction of the 300-metre long drainage constructed around 45 years ago. WRD Junior Engineer Pradip Naik had assured to clear the road within two days.
