Due to the severity of his condition, doctors later referred him to the South Goa District Hospital for further medical care.

According to residents, Mayur suffered head injuries and was also bleeding from his ear after the attack.

Local residents have expressed serious concern over the frequent movement of wild bison in the area. They claimed that the same bison has reportedly been responsible for two deaths in the past and has often attacked riders or collided with vehicles, causing injuries to locals.

Residents have now urged the Goa Forest Department to take immediate action and install fencing in the area to prevent bison from entering roads and residential localities.
