MAPUSA: Sangolda Lightning SC winning streak was halted by Guirim Youth & SC as they held them to a goalless draw in the GFA’s Third Division League-Bardez Zone held at Duler stadium, here, on Tuesday.
At Vagator PYSC grounds: ABC Arambol SC registered a fluent 3-1 win over Sodiem Siolim SC. Manuel Rodrigues put Arambol colts ahead by scoring in the very 5th minute of play. On crossing over Krishna Vaigankar and Johncy Rodrigues added two more goals for the winners while Harish Vaigankar managed to score a consolation goal for Sodiem. Arambol’s Vasudev Bandekar received a direct red card by referee in the 72nd minute of play for rough play.

At Moira grounds: Miracles SC rallied to register a 4-2 win over Sesa FA Juniors. At the breather the teams were locked in a 1-1 draw. Manjunath Bangar opened the account for Miracles unit only to find Farren Gonsalves level terms for Sesa FA, 1-1.
On resumption of play Joyston Rodrigues (self goal), Roger Miranda and Luis Fernandes scored for Miracles unit.
At Kelbaiwada grounds Mayem: Siddeshwar Sports Club thrashed St Dominic Sports Club by 7-0 margin. Saiel Bhaimaikar did most of the damage by scoring a hattrick. Shreyash Bhamaikar, Anup Bhaimaikar, Dylan Gomes and Gaurang Surlakar scored for the winners.
St Sebastian Union and UC Orlim registered wins in Salcete Zone league football tournament.
At Dando ground, Benaulim, St Sebastian UC defeated UC Benaulim by 2-0 goals. Joel Fernandes and Levy Pereira netted a goal each.
At Dramapur football ground, UC Orlim defeated Varca SC by 4-2 goals. Daniel Nair scored a brace while Joyston Gracias and Rishikesh Heravi scored a goal each for UC Orlim. Jason Nunes and Xavier Martins scored for Varca SC.
