CURCHOREM: St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda moved into the semi-finals defeating St Rock Youth Club, Majorda 2-0 at the XIXth Holy Cross all Goa inter-village football tournament organised by Holy Cross Sports Club, Kakoda-Curchorem at Vodlemoll-Kakoda ground, on Wednesday.
At half time, there was no score.
After barren half, St Anthony took the lead in the 6th minute of the second half through Alton Vaz.
St Rock Youth Club regrouped quickly and took the fight but St Anthony Sports Club thwarted all the opponent’s efforts.
St Rock Youth Club intensified their forays and doubled the lead again with the efforts of Alton in the 20th minute.
