CHINCHINIM: Ambelim SC defeated Dicarpale SC 7-6 via the tie-breaker to enter into the semi-finals of the Fr Bruno Leitao Memorial football tournament, at OL of Hope church ground, Chinchinim, on Thursday.

After a barren full session, in the tie-breaker, Richard Fernandes, Vishal Arakar, Steno Rebello, Perryson Fernandes, Clins Pinto, Asfin Pinto and Ozen Silva netted for Ambelim SC while William Niasso, Francisco Colaco, Mack Borges, Velington Rocha, Clifton Rebello and Agnelo Colaco shot at the target for Dicarpale.
The man-of-the-match was awarded to Ozen Silva of Ambelim SC.
