PANJIM: Avait Dhavlikar and Navin Morajkar from Mormugoa won the 4th All-Goa Rotary Children’s Chess festival in U-13 and U-15 categories respectively, organized by Unique Chess Academy, Margao, in association with Rotary Club of Margao, at Nehru Stadium hall, Fatorda-Margao, recently.
A total of 180 players participated, including 85 FIDE rated players.
The winners of U-13 category are as follows 1st Advait Dhavlikar, 2nd Kavish Gharse, 3rd G Madhavan, 4th Vraj Porob, 5th Colaco Reuben, 6th Sahil Dessai, 7th Anurag Advalpalkar, 8th Devesh Naik, 9th Tanishq Kavlekar, 10th Kakodkar Love, 11th Sanat Borkar, 12th Paarth Salvi, 13th Pratik Borkar.
U-7 category Boys: Shubh Kalangutkar and Girls: Pushti Bhonsle.
U-9 category Boys: Ruturaj Prabhudessai and Girls: Netra Sawaikar.
Best Unique Academy players award went to Jugan Rodrigues, Bandolkar Kunal and Parulekar Nischal.
The winners in U-15 are as follows 1st Navin Morajkar, 2nd Prabhugaonkar Aditee, 3rd Audi Saiesh, 4th Aaryan Raikar, 5th Sahil Dessai, 6th Vraj Porob, 7th Kavish Gharse, 8th Sanat Borkar, 9th Bhobe Harsh, 10th Fadte Rudresh, 11th Siddesh Marathe, 12th Aayush Naik, 13th Naroji Sanskruti, 14th Eesh Prabhudessai, 15th G Maddhavan. U-7 category Boys: Shubh Kalangutkar and Girls: Pushti Bhonsle.
U-9 category Boys: Sairaj Vernekar and Girls:Naik Sayuri. Best Unique Academy players went to Devesh Anand Naik, Jugan Rodrigues and Tanishq Kavlekar.
The prizes were given by chief guest Rakesh Agarwal of Prakash Groups in the presence of Ramdas Sawant (Treasurer of Goa Chess Association), Sushant Surlakar (President of Rotary Club of Margao Midtown) and other dignitaries.
