Striker Kingslee, Princeton and Moises score for the winners; Rajesh reduces the margin for Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao

PANJIM: Betalbatim Sporting Club registered a fluent 3-1 victory over Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao to lift the GFA under-18 Second Division trophy, at T B Cunha sports complex, Cansaulim, on Tuesday.
Betalbatim dominated the early exchanges and surged ahead in the 16th minute through striker Kingslee Fernandes, who found the net from top of the box.
After resumption Taleigao pressed forward and secured the equalizer through striker Rajesh Kankoncar’s left-footer.
Betalbatim slowly took control of the proceedings and were awarded a spot-kick when striker Kingslee was brought down by a Taleigao defender.
Medio Princeton Rebello stepped up for the resultant penalty and made no mistake.
Ten minutes before the final whistle, Betalbatim extended their lead as winger Moises D’Sa made a daunting run down the flank and finished with a neat placement.
GFA Executive Committee Member and ex-assistant secretary Jaju Fernandes was the chief guest and gave away the winners trophy to Betalbatim Sporting in the presence of Betalbatim Sporting Club coach Eban Mesquita and other officials.
