PANJIM: Bhatikar Model High School defeated Mahila Nutan High School by 30 runs to emerge champions in the U-17 inter-school Salcete Zone Cricket tournament, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Margao, recently.
Batting first, Mahila Nutan HS scored 130 for 6 in allotted 20 overs with Rahul Mehta top scored with 48 runs. In reply, Mahila Nutan HS scored 100 for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs with Mohit Redkar top scoring with 38 runs.
