MARGAO: Bond Veterans, Curtorim routed Sun Moon Veterans, Chandor 3-0 to storm into the quarter-finals of All-Goa 11th Fame of Unity Veterans football tournament organized by Flame of Unity Sports Club, Per Seraulim, at Mabai ground, Per Seraulim on Monday. Bond Veterans led 1-0 at half time.
Seby Vaz beat his markers and unleashed a stiff shot that crashed into the net to give Bond Veterans the lead.
After the break, Bond Veterans increased the tally when Minguel D’Souza punished the rival goalkeeper with neat finish. Seby Vaz who was in thick action struck twice late in the second half to complete his brace.
