CAC in quarters

HERALD CORRESPONDENT MARGAO, MAY 2 CAC, Cansaulim defeated Cuncolim Union 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of Sao Jose de Areal Villagers Cup football tournament organised by Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose De Areal on Saturday.

CAC, Cansaulim defeated  Cuncolim Union  4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of Sao Jose de Areal Villagers Cup football tournament organised by Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose De Areal on  Saturday.The teams remained  goalless at the end of normal period of play.
In the tie-breaker, Melwyn Soares, Anthony Cardozo, Cedric Fernandes and Peter were  on target for Cansualim while  Franky Pereira,  Joseph Fernandes and Dipak Velip  scored for Cuncolim Union.
