Caculo College, Rosary College and Don Bosco entered into the second round of inter-college football (men) championship organised by Goa University at University
ground, Taleigao Plateau.
Caculo, Mapusa beat GVM’s, Ponda 2-0. Gary D’Mello (7th minute) and Kritesh Kinalkar (38th) scored for Caculo.
Rosary, Navelim beat Government College, Pernem 9-0. At the end of the first half the score was 6-0. Agnelo Fernandes scored a hat-trick (13th, 16th and 17th minutes) for Rosary while Alroy Mascarenhas (27th), Bradley Regtao (30th and 60th), Stalin Baptista (34th) and Hanslum Furtado (40th and 50th) were the other scorers.
Don Bosco, Panjim beat Government. College, Sanquelim 5-2. At the end of the first half the score was 3-0. Don Bosco’s scored through Shadab Shaikh (2nd, 66th and 78th), Lunaciep (12th) and Kingsley D’Costa (34th).
