PANJIM: Campal Warriors defeated Don Bosco Boys, Panjim 5-4 via the tie-breaker in the final of the All-Goa football tournament, organized by Cross XI, Caranzalem, at Groupo Desportive ground, Caranzalem, on Sunday. There was no score at full time.
Campal Warriors held their cool in the ensuing penalty shoot-out. They were awarded Rs 7,000 and a trophy while the runners-up took home Rs 5,000 and a trophy.
CCP Councilor, Maragarida Coelho e Fernandes was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Peter Figueiredo, Secretary of KSSKK, Caranzalem; Dempo SC footballer Mohammad Ali and other dignitaries.
