PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda entered the quarter-finals of All-Goa Curtorim Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organized by Curtorim Gymkhana at Curtorim Church ground. They defeated Navelim Villagers Union 3-0. There was no score at half time.
Don Bosco scored in the 38th minute through Rozer Azavedo who dribbled past Navelim defender Vilfred Pires after receiving a pass from Avelino Faleiro.
Navelim striker Joel Camara missed a golden opportunity to equalize in the 40th minute with only the goalkeeper at his mercy.
Don Bosco increased their lead in the 50th minute as veteran player Francis Andrade after receiving a diagonal pass from Minguel Barretto scored.
In the dying minutes Francis Andrade scored after receiving a pass from centre half Savio Quadros.
Navelim did their best to reduce the margin but could not succeed as Don Bosco goalkeeper Dalwin Costa effected some superlative saves.
