DBO meet Nerul United in finals today

Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda will lock horns with Nerul United in the finals of Al-Javeed Jewellers 36th Bandodkar memorial football tournament, organised by Baina Sports Club at MPT ground, here on Sunday, at 4 p.m.
Don Bosco cleared their first hurdle defeating Peddem Bomm, Anjuna 2-0, in the quarter-finals.
Don Bosco edged out holders Goa Velha 2-1 in the penalty shoot-out after giving a tough time to the holders, to enter the semi-finals.
Don Bosco defeated last year semi-finalists Saligao United Club 3-1 to make it to the finals.
Nerul United had to fight tooth and nail to reach the semi-final stage. Their first victim was Dovorlim Sporting Club followed by St. Sebastian, St Cruz, in an exciting match which brought them into the semi-finals.
Nerul made short work of Sangolda Lightning by pumping in three goals to enter the finals.
The finals promise to be a thrilling affair given the reputation that the teams enjoy.
