PANJIIM: Don Bosco High School, Panjim outplayed SFX High School, Siolim 6-1 in the North Goa under-14 inter-school football final, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Tivim football ground, Tivim, recently.
The Panjim outfit coached by their PE teacher Francis Raposo, dominated the proceedings right from the start.
Striker Aman Govekar, Shanon Vaz and Nikhil Correia secured a brace each while Francis Periera was the lone goal scorer for SFX, Siolim.
Edward, Sanket and Aniket played well for Don Bosco in defence while Aaron D’Costa, Nolan Rodrigues and Joy played well in midfield for Don Bosco with their defence splitting passes to their strikers Aman, Shanon and Nikhil.
Don Bosco will now take on the South Goa winners in the State final.
