MAPUSA/RAIA: FC Siolim drubbed Sodiem Siolim Sports and Cultural Club by 4-0 margin in the Goa Football Association’s Division III League Bardez Zone match played at Siolim ground, on Saturday.
All the goals came in the second session of play. Prajot Phadte opened the account with Dalesh Pednekar, Manthan Jivaji and Sadanand Dabholkar adding their names to the scorer’s list.
At Moira ground, Benny XI Mapusa registered a fluent 3-1 win over Laxmi Prasad SC. Benny XI playing with almost seven U-18 players came triumphant scoring through Udit Baa, Vikrant Mangesh and Gitesh Shirodkar. Pravin scored the consolation goal for Laxmi Prasad.
At Verna panchayat ground, Futebol Club YFA scored a hard-fought 3-2 win over SCC Loutolim. Samuel D’Souza, Royce Pinto and Adler Teles scored a goal each for Futebol Club YFA, while Daren Gomes and Carl Soares netted for SCC Loutolim.
At Curtorim ground, SWC of Zaino, Velim, trounced Chandor Club by 5-1 goals. Sclachie Cardozo scored a brace, while Nessio Pinto, Sam Moura and Owan Fernandes netted a goal each for SWC of Zaino. The only goal for Chandor Club was scored by Joysten Peixoto.
A brace by Landan Mendonca helped Varca Sports Club to score a win over United Sports Club of Seraulim at Varca Church ground.
At Raia panchayat ground, Raia Sporting Club easily outwitted St Sebastiao Youth Club, Murida-Fatorda, by 7-1 goals.
Chetan Gaude scored a hat-trick followed by a brace by substitute Silvano Oliveira, while Oilex Oliveira and Yelloy Fernandes netted a goal each for Raia SC.
The only goal for St Sebastiao Youth Club was scored by substitute Vellinston Gama.
