MAPUSA: Football Club of Tuem breezed past Cunchelim Sports Club 3-1 win in the GFA’s Third Division League match, at Colvale ground, here, on Sunday.
At the breather both the teams were locked in a 1-1 draw.
Joel D’Souza put Tuem into the lead in the 15th minute when he accurately directed his 25-yard
free-kick into the Cunchelim nets.
After several missed chances, Cunchelim found the precious equalizer when Omkar Sawant was at the right place to tap home the ball from handshaking distance.
Crossing over, Tuem pushed hard and netted in two quick goals through Dahlberg Vaz, who scored off a long range effort while Amit Rane scored off a placement.
