CALANGUTE: The Village Panchayat of Calangute recently felicitated Sporting Clube de Goa footballer Pratesh Shirodker, who has recently signed for Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Mumbai City FC for the second edition of the tournament.
Acting Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira and Panch of Gaura Vaddo Savio Gonsalves felicitated the midfielder from Calangute during the Independence Day celebrations. Pratesh received a shield for bringing laurels to the coastal village.
Joseph congratulated the lad from Gaura Vaddo and wished him all the very best for the upcoming ISL season which will commence on October 3.
Also present were president of Lions Club of Calangute Sabita Walavalkar and other dignitaries. Jovicia Sequeira and Loyena Mascarenhas compered.
