PANJIM: GFDC Cuncolim emerged winners in the U-13 category in the Boca Juniors- Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) Summer Football League organised by GFDC in association with Boca Juniors Football School, at the SAG Athletic Stadium, at Bambolim, recently.
Boca Juniors, Bangalore emerged runners-up in the U-13 category.
In the U-11 boys category, Boca Juniors Bangalore emerged winners while GFDC Ambelim were named as the runners-up.
The Assistant Technical Director Boca Juniors Football School (Bangalore), Marko Derkovic, congratulated all the teams that participated in the league. He also enlightened the budding players that they should play to win.
GFDC Chairman, Dr Rufino Monteiro, explained the importance of competitions in the development of football talent and praised the players for their performance throughout the league.
