The GFDC newsletter will be released on the occasion, followed by a exhibition football match between the Water Resource Department and GFDC, at Duler stadium, Mapusa which will commence at 4 p.m.
GFDC has around 3,000 trainees in their developmental centres with 60 coaches and has initiated 30 referees in the system. In the past two years, they have organized two international football conferences (GIFT 2013 and 2014) and a sports medicine conference.
GFDC recently appointed Technical Director Katz Naidoo to oversee the coaching activities and also launched its under-16 academies
They also plan on rolling out a financial assistance schemes for ex-footballers.
