Government College, Quepem defeated Fr Agnel, Pilar 2-0 in the final. Captain Sagun Gaonkar scored the first goal while Navin Gaonkar stuck the second to clinch the title for Quepem.
In the women final, SS Dempo College played well to overcome defending champions St Xavier College, Mapusa 1-0. Kavia Shetty scored the all-important goal in the last quarter of the match.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, SS Dempo College defeated Rosary College, Navelim 1-0 and St Xavier College defeated Government College, Khandola 1-0.
Director of Higher Education and Principal of Government College, Quepem, Prof. Bhaskar Nayak was the chief guest for the presentation ceremony. Dr Gervasio Mendes, principal of Government College, Pernem and Dr. John Fernandes, former principal were the guests of honour. They presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners-up.
