PANJIM: Holy Spirit Margao and Shenvi HS Ravandfond entered the second round of 14th Mukund Trikannad memorial all-Goa inter-school cricket tournament organized by Margao Cricket Club at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Margao.
Holy Spirit defeated Our Lady Mother of Poor by six wickets. Batting first, Our Lady Mother of Poor were bundled out for a meager 75 in 19.3 overs. Mahesh Kalpate 18. Sheldon D’Costa, Hanumant Hariyan, Ajit Mourya and Ajin John picked up two wickets each. Hanson Fernandes took one.
In reply, Holy Spirit managed to overhaul the required total in 15.5 overs for the loss of four wickets. Harshavardhan Kurane 43.
Shenvi thrashed Posh HS, Navelim by six wickets. Posh were skittled out for 58 in 15.1 overs. Sumit Rathi 20, Omkar Mareedu 10.
