Institute of Provedoria, Vivian Niwas top

MAPUSA: Institute of Provedoria Boys Home, Candolim and Vivian Niwas Girls Home, Siolim clinched titles at the 3rd Inter-Clubs Lions sports meet for underprivileged children, at St Joseph’s Boys Home, Calangute, recently.

Over 200 children from five institutions of Institute of Provedoria Candolim, Vivian Niwas Girls Home, Siolim; Shanti Nikitan School, Assagao; St Joseph’s Home, Calangute and Moving School, Arpora participated.
In the Boy’s section, the second place was secured by Shanti Niketan School, Assagao and the third place went to St Joseph’s Boy’s Home, Calangute.
In the Girl’s section, the second place was won by Moving School, Arpora and third place went to Shanti Niketan School, Assagao.
Lions Club of Arpora-Nagoa-Parra in collaboration with Lions Club of Assagao, Anjuna, Aldona, Mapusa, Mapusa Sub-Urban, Calangute, Candolim, Tivim and Chodan had organized the sports meet.
Chief guest and MLA of Calangute Constituency, Michael Lobo gave away the prizes in the presence of Sarpanch of Parra, Deliaha Lobo; Sarpanch of Arpora-Nagoa, Mahima Korgaonkar, Filpe Dias, Vendetta Remedios, Adv Kubal, Anand Kandolkar, Albert D’Souza, Vivekananda Naik, Raphael De Sa and other dignitaries. 
Raphael De Sa, Organizing Chairperson welcomed. Anthony Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
