PANJIM: Arambol thrashed Parra 9-0 in the under-10 boys match in the fifth week of Vodafone GFDC Rising Stars Football Festival Inter Centre League Season II, at Arambol.
Jhoncy Rodrigues scored a hat-trick, Anshul Fernandes and Reneil Fernandes scored two goals each while Sanford Fernandes and Karol Fernandes scored a goal each. Jhoncy was declared player of the match.
A keen tussle was witnessed in the U-13 boys wherein Parra defeated Arambol 3-2 with Caleb scoring hat-trick for the winners and Gobin netting one. For the losers, Nathan Rodrigues and Cyprian Rodrigues scored a goal each.
At Aldona, in the U-10 boys, player of the match Narendra Naik of Aldona netted five goals to score a 6-0 victory against Moira. Asher Pinto was the other scorer for the home team.
In the U-13, Moira scored a solitary goal victory over hosts Aldona. Frazer Fernandes scored the all-important goal. Player of the match was Larry Gomes of Aldona.
At Collem, hosts Collem defeated Quepem 2-0 in the U-10 boys. Player of the match, Francisco Fernandes scored both the goals.
In the U-13 boys, Collem and Quepem ended in a goalless draw.
In the U-13 girls, hosts Collem defeated Quepem 2-0 with Suhana Vanti and Neha Raut scoring a goal each. Suhana Vanti was declared player of the match.
