PAJIFOND: King’s High School, Sao Jose de Areal defeated S S Samiti’s High School, Ponda by 56 runs to emerge champs in the South Goa U-16 Dilip Sardesai inter-school girls cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association, at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Margao, on Saturday.
King’s School scored 130 for 1. Ibtizam Shaikh was the highest scorer of the innings with an unbeaten 51. In reply, S S Samiti’s HS were bundled out for just 74 runs.
