RAIA: Maina SC moved past Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, 7-6 via tie-breaker to move ahead in the Lourdes Soccer football tournament played at Ambelim ground, on Monday.
Both the teams started the match on an attcaking note in search of early goals. Elroy Barreto gave the lead to Don Bosco Oratory, while Ryan Fernandes cancelled the lead for Maina SC to end the regulation time with a 1-1 draw.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Joywin Carneiro, Nickson Castanha, Ryan Fernandes, Rhay Dias, Jovel Martins and Prakash Joshi scored for Maina SC, while Roque Borges, Hanslum Furtado, Alfred Noronha, Richie Vaz and Joel Camara netted for Don Bosco Oratory.
