Former India midfielder and assistant coach of Churchill Brothers, Mario Soares (Chinchinim) will guide Salgaocar Sports Club as assistant coach for the new season.
Mario started his career with Salcete Football Club and then played for Salgaocar, Dempo.
Mario worked as assistant coach with the then Churchill Brothers coaches Moroccan Karim Bencherifa, Serbian coach Zoran. During the season that just ended he was under Brazilian coach Roberto Carlos de Silva.
Soares holds the Asian Football Confederation C Licence in coaching.
