MARGAO: A second half strike by striker Sanford Cardozo helped Navelim Villagers Union to overcome Panchavadi United 1-0 to cruise into the finals of All-Goa Velim Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organized by Sports Welfare Club of Zaino-Velim at Zaino ground, Velim, Saturday. There was no score at the lemon break.
Sanford Cardozo struck the match-winner in the second session.
