RAIA: Navelim Villagers Union clinched a decisive 2-0 victory over SCC Loutolim, to advance to the quarterfinals of the Fr Agnelo Youth soccer tournament, organised by the Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda and played at the panchayat grounds, Avedem.
Meliston Dias opened the scoring in the 10th minute. His powerful strike from the edge of the box soared into the top corner, leaving the Loutolim goalkeeper helpless. Navelim doubled their lead later in the first half when Noah Luis showcased brilliant skill, dribbling past multiple defenders to slot the ball home.

Despite a dominant second-half performance led by Aniston D’Silva, Loutolim struggled to find the back of the net. Navelim’s solid defensive line held firm, frustrating the Loutolim attackers. The game grew tense as Figo Gomes of Navelim was sent off for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
