VERNA: Old Mardol Boys downed Dulape Boys 4-1 via tie-breaker to move in to the semi-finals of 4th inter-ward football tournament organised by United Boys of Ambulor at Verna panchayat ground, on Monday.
There was no score in the first half.
In the second half, Old Mardol Boys opened their account through Cajie Pereira who ran with the ball into the 18 yard box and placed it in the side netting.
Later, Old Mardol Boys conceded a penalty which Dulape Boys’ Matis Abranches made no mistake to put his team on level terms.
In the tie-breaker, Cajie, Clive, Alsentino, Remedious scored for Old Mardol while only Eldrich converted for Dulape Boys.
