MAPUSA: Paradise Sports Club trounced Nauxim Sports Club 3-0 in GFA’s Third Division football league match (Ilhas zone) at Dr Remigio Pinto ground, Taleigao, Monday.
After a goalless first session, Paradise broke the deadlock in the first minute of the second half through Anthony Correira’s deft placement.
Three minutes later, they were awarded a penalty which was coolly converted by Newton Azavedo. Newton then registered his brace in the 77th minute to make it 3-0.
At St Cruz ground, Cabesa Sports Club edge past Aivao United Sports Club by a solitary goal.
