FATORDA: Raia FC defeated Churchill Brothers SC 3-1 in the U-14 GFA League match, at Artifical Turf, Fatorda, on Tuesday.
Reyes Cruz scored the first goal of the match in the 34th putting Raia FC ahead in the match. It was Cyrus Noronha in the very next minute who gave his team a 2-0 advantage over Churchill Bros.
In the 42nd minute Nityan Yadav scored a goal for Churchill Bros to reduce the margin. Thereon Churchill Bros tried to find the equaliser but their strikers failed to convert the chances.
It was Reyes who drove the final nail into the coffin in the 71st minute thus diminishing hopes of the rivals.
