RAIA: Margao Sports Club booked a place in the semi-finals by scoring a solitary goal victory over Benifica Youth Club, Vasco, in the 17th St Anthony Festival Cup football tournament organised by St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda, at Moll ground, Assolda, on Monday.
Both the teams started the match on a caution note due to slippery ground condition and couldn’t take control of the ball and ending the first half in a goalless draw.
The all-important goal came from the boots of Richie Vaz of Margao Sports Club in the 38th minute of the second half.
