MAPUSA: Saligao Sporting thumped Vagator Parish Youth 4-1 in the Milagres Cup, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Friday.
Saligao Sporting dominated the game right from the start and the first goal was scored by Michael Dias by flicking the ball over the on rushing goal keeper in the 10th minute.
The second goal was scored in the 12th minute off a header by Abusalry Hawaldar off Uday Naik’s cross. The third goal was scored by Sachinand Saterlkar in the 25th minute off a solo effort. Sachinand scored his second goal with a neat placement shot in the 28th minute.
In second half, Vagator Parish Youth scored a goal through Delston D’Souza in the 45th minute off a cross by Brian D’Souza.
