NAVELIM: SC Davorlim got the better of Guirdolim SC 5-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Late Jose Bento Furtado Memorial trophy football tournament match, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Wednesday.
Mario Fernandes netted the first goal of the match for Guirdolim in the 37th minute, but the joy was short lived as within twenty minutesDavorlim equalised through Andrew Colaco.
In the tie-breaker, SC Davorlim scored through Joe Gomes, Agnelo Colaco, Sachin Ashtekar and Mabel Miranda while for Guirdolim Mario Fernandes and Akram Yadav scored.
