In the first game, both teams started brightly. Benaulim’s Cliff Dias left footer missed the Carmona nets in the 4th minute, while Carmona’s Yuri Ferrao long-range effort hit the rival post and went out of play in the 10th minute.
In the 15th minute, Benaulim’s Johal Khan’s header was easily collected by Carmona keeper.
Benaulim almost took the lead in the 43rd minute, but Johnson failed to guide Cavin Ratos corner-kick in the goal.
Crossing ends, Carmona had the chance in the very first minute but Daren Estebeiro’s low drive was easily saved by the rival keeper.
In the 56th minute, Benaulim’s Lanjoy missed an open sitter with only the keeper at his mercy, as the lad shot wide from the goal mouth. Both teams failed to score any goals at the end of the match.
At Raia ground, SCC Loutolim drubbed Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 6-0.
Jaslon Fernandes scored a brace for Loutolim in the 24th and 56th minute, while Sanford Fernandes (39th minute), Joel Alves (73rd minute), Jovin Fernandes (84th minute) and Doel Fernandes (86th minute) scored a goal each for the winners.
