MAPUSA: Two late goals enabled Sesa Football Association to edge past FC Goa in the Goa Football Association’s U-19 League match played at Sirsaim ground, on Friday.
After a drab first half, both the teams came out in the second half with a positive intent. Shawn opened the scoring for FC Goa in the 72nd minute after being set up by Bryson, 1-0.
FC Goa missed a great chance to extend the lead when Bryson failed to convert the spot kick in the 81st minute. This spurred Sesa FA on and they equalised in the 86th minute with a well-taken chance by striker Ashish. It did not take long for Sesa FA to take the lead when in the 88th minute Ashish netted his brace to secure full three points for his team.
