MAPUSA/BETALBATIM: Sesa FA registered a hard fought 1-0 win over Dempo SC in the GFA’s U-15 – 1st Division league played at Sirsaim ground here on Friday.

Dempo had the first attempt at the rival goal in the 16th minute when Karen Maratha’s shot was heading
for the top corner of the goal when Sesa’s keeper Franklin brought a diving collection.
Sesa could have taken the lead in the 24th minute when Johnson Rane’s shot hit the crossbar and came back into play, to which Ravi Kumar’s header again hit the crossbar & fell into Dempo goalkeeper’s gloves.
Sesa FA looked more organized in the second half and they scored in the 59th minute when Ravi Kumar sprinted on the right flank & played a low cross to Ferren Gonsalves who placed the ball at the far corner of the goal giving no chance for the Dempo defenders and keeper to react.
At Drampur ground, FC Goa drubbed Churchill Brothers SC by 4-0.
Sam Pereira netted a brace, with Cydroy Colaco and Shubh Kerkar accounting for the next two goals.
